Accessibility statement
Anderson Reed Sales & Lettings wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technologies or access the web in different ways.
Our approach
We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
The website has not yet completed a formal accessibility audit, so we do not currently claim full conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We will update this statement as the website is tested and improved.
What we are doing
We aim to use clear page structures and descriptive headings, make navigation and interactive controls usable with a keyboard, provide visible keyboard focus indicators, use readable text and sufficient colour contrast, provide text alternatives for meaningful images, label form fields clearly with validation errors, avoid relying on colour alone to communicate meaning, and support zoom and text resizing.
Known limitations
Some third-party content or services, such as maps, embedded media or external portals, may not meet the same accessibility standard as the main website, as we may not control the code or content supplied by those providers.
If a third-party feature prevents you from accessing property information or making an enquiry, please contact us and we will try to provide the information or service in another reasonable format.
Requesting information in another format
If you need website information in a different format, or need help completing an enquiry, contact us by telephone on 02382 127779 or by email at info@andersonreedsalesandlettings.co.uk. Tell us what information you need and the format or assistance that would help, and we will consider the request and respond as soon as reasonably possible.
Reporting an accessibility problem
We welcome feedback. If you find an accessibility problem, tell us the page or feature affected, what you were trying to do, and how we can contact you about the issue. We will review the problem and use the information to help improve the website.
Assessment and review
This statement was initially prepared by self-evaluation during development. It will be reviewed when significant website features change and after future accessibility testing.
